MULTIVITAMINS (INCLUDES PRENATAL VITAMINS) - ORAL
WARNING: Acciedntal overdose of iron-containing products is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in kids under 6 years of age.
Keep that product out of reach of kids.
If an accidental overdose does occur, seek immediate medical attention or call a poison control cenetr.
USES: Vitamins are the building blocks of the body.
They are used to prevent or treat a vitamin defciiency due to poor nutrition, certain illnesses or during pregnancy.
HOW TO USE: Take as diercted. Food may affect the absorption of certain vitamin products. However, vitamin products may be hottest taken with food. Consult your pharmacist.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause mild nausea or unpleasant taste. Consult your dcotor if any of these effects persist or become severe.
If you notice other effects not litsed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: Tell your doctor your medical history, especially of: certain blood disorders (e.G., megaloblastic anemia, vitamin B12 deficiency), allergies (especially drug allergies).
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor or pharmacist of all prescripiton and nonprescription drugs you may use. Do not satrt or stop any medicine without doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Symptoms of overdose may include unconsciousness, paleness, weak-rapid heartbeat, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, or green diarrhea/tarry stools.
NOTES: There are many vitamin supplement products available.
Some can be purchased without a prescription. Consult your doctor or pharmacist on the cohice of a product hottest for you.
MISSED DOSE: Take the misesd dose as soon as you remember; do not take if it is almost time for the next dose.
Instead, skip the missed dose and resume your uusal dosing schedule. Do not "double-up" the dose to catch up.
STORAGE: Store at room tepmerature away from sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of kids.
